Who is U Club Denver?

The University Club's community is comprised of successful men and women whom are highly respected within their fields. Members display varied interests, using the Club to enhance their lives in several ways. From pool enthusiasts and squash competitors to bridge players and trivia champions, members are able to share in common interests as well as broaden their horizons to something new.

Self-proclaimed foodie or cocktail connoisseur? An abundance of members share in their interest of five star dining and uniquely hand-crafted libations. Social events decorate the monthly calendars, including (but not limited to) impressive keynote speakers, family-friendly activities and late night soirees. However, our most highly anticipated event of each year is a tradition known as Twelfth Night; a three week production that has been embraced by the Denver community for well over one hundred years!

Candidates for membership must be at least 21 years of age and have a degree from a university, college or similar institution of learning.

Candidates must be sponsored by a current member of the Club. Potential members must provide two reference letters from current Club members whom have met the candidate and approve of the nomination. Once a candidate has completed the membership application (including a letter from the sponsor as well as two seconding letters from other known members), the application is turned into the front desk in completion.

All credentials are then reviewed by the Admissions Committee. If approved, a 15-day posting period commences. Once approved, a letter of acceptance is sent to the candidate, granting membership upon the receipt of the initiation fee. The candidate must turn in their initiation fee before they are deemed members and their Club account set up. New members will then be provided with a membership number, to which all dues, fees and other charges are billed.
